Our New Roof!

Our church has long needed a new roof. Matt's dad traveled in from Pennsylvania to oversee the whole process and as of about 1:00 today the job is finally completed! We are also grateful for the help of David Tucker, Jordan Terrian, Paul Holden, Justin Jamison, Jeff Dewhurst, Austin Watters & Austin's dad - Mr. Watters.

That is just great stuff! In a sense, the new roof is symbolic of the church and all its practices today. Times may have changed, and people may have come and gone, but the church remains the same in its purpose. The same goes with the roof. It may be new and all, but it still functions just as well as it should. Cheers and congrats to the new church roof! :)

A new roof for an aging foundation? That's like giving new life to the establishment and to the community being served by this church. David, Jordan, Paul ,Justin, Jeff and Austin should be proud of this accomplishment. :)

It was nice of Matt’s dad to come on down and help out with the roof renovation. I can’t really tell from these pictures what material the new roof is made of. Anyway, how long did it take for the new roof to be finished?

Getting a new roof for your church is symbolic of protecting the very foundations of the ministry and its practices. It’s even more meaningful that so many people came together to help finish the job. I hope the new roof has withstood the erratic weather we’ve been having these past couple of years.
